Method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, maple syrup (or honey), melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined into a dough.
- Press the dough into a tartlet pan or small tart pan to form the base of the tart.
- Place dates in the centre of the tart, pressing them slightly into the dough.
- Bake the tart for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden.
- Once baked, allow to cool slightly before drizzling with balsamic glaze and serving.
